Kindergarten 1 is open to all in-district students who will be 4 years of age by September 10, 2021. Parents may elect to enroll their 5 year old in Kindergarten 1 if they feel their child would benefit from an additional year of development before Kindergarten. The schedule for Kindergarten 1 will be determined prior to the 2021-2022 school year depending on enrollment numbers. Kindergarten is open to students who will be 5 years of age by September 10, 2021. Kindergarten runs Monday through Friday 8am to 3:30pm. Students intending to enroll in Kindergarten need to complete a 30 minute Kindergarten readiness screening with Joliet early education teachers. Currently enrolled Kinder 1 students in Joliet DO NOT need a readiness screening.
