Statewide School Accreditation Process

The purpose of this letter is to communicate important information regarding changes to the Montana Office of Public Instruction’s statewide school accreditation process and opportunities for community members to participate in shaping future District success.

Acknowledgment of Risk Form

Attention High School Parents & Guardians: We are excited for the first day of school tomorrow! Your student is not able to drive off campus (over lunchtime) without the Acknowledgement of Risk Form completed and turned in at the school. It can be found at the following link or you can stop by for a copy to fill out. Thanks for your understanding!

Testing Information

Testing Information

We do a variety of testing throughout the year at Joliet School. These include MAP (Measures of Academic Progress), SBAC (Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium), ACT (American College Testing), PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test), and ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery).

Kindergarten through 11th grade does MAPs reading testing, Kindergarten through 5th grade does iReady math testing, 6th-11th grade does MAPs math testing. 4th, 8th, and 10th grade do MAPs science testing. The MAPs test is given to our students in the fall, winter, and spring.

Election Information

Election Information

Election: May 7, 2024

Ballots for the elementary trustee election, the elementary building reserve levy election and the high school building reserve levy election will be mailed by the Carbon County Election Office between April 12th and April 22nd.
 
Mail ballots may be mailed to the address given with your ballot, or you may drop off your ballot at the Carbon County Election Office, or Joliet Schools.
 
CANCELLATION OF HIGH SCHOOL TRUSTEE ELECTION
 
Joliet High School District 7/70 has cancelled their trustee election per MCA 20-3-313.  The following candidate has won by acclamation, for a three (3) year term:  Kelly Carrington.
 
This cancellation is only for the trustee race.  The Joliet High School will still be conducting a Building Reserve Levy election.
