Statewide School Accreditation Process

The purpose of this letter is to communicate important information regarding changes to the Montana Office of Public Instruction’s statewide school accreditation process and opportunities for community members to participate in shaping future District success.

Title IX Information

Title IX Information

The District does not discriminate on the basis of sex in any education program or activity that it operates. The District is required by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and the regulations promulgated through the U.S. Department of Education not to discriminate in such a manner. Inquiries about the application of Title IX to the District may be referred to the District’s Title IX Coordinator, to the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights of the Department of Education, or both.

Any person may report sex discrimination, including sexual harassment, at any time, including during non-business hours. Such a report may be made in person, by mail, by telephone or by electronic mail, using the contact information listed for the Title IX Coordinator, or by any other means that results in the Title IX Coordinator receiving the person’s verbal or written report.

Testing Information

Testing Information

We do a variety of testing throughout the year at Joliet School. These include MAP (Measures of Academic Progress), MAST (Montana Aligned to Standards Through-Year), Montana Science Assessment, Multi-State Alternative Assessment, ACT (American College Testing), PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test), and ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery).

6th through 10th grade does MAPs reading and math testing, Kindergarten through 5th grade does iReady math & reading testing, 5th, 8th, and 10th grade do MAPs science testing. The MAPs & iReady diagnostic test is given to our students in the fall, winter, and spring.

Acknowledgment of Risk Form

Attention High School Parents & Guardians: We are excited for the first day of school tomorrow! Your student is not able to drive off campus (over lunchtime) without the Acknowledgement of Risk Form completed and turned in at the school.
